Home system
By using synoptic panels on a PC the heating/air conditioning of all rooms in the Centre can be controlled and adjusted from one position.
Similarly, electricity plants, lighting, curtains and shutters are included in an electronic control system enabling one plant operator to control all building functions.
The controls are interlocked by telecommunications network and cabling throughout the building and hence to the Internet.
So the building can also be remote controlled.

Telecommunications
The Mantova Multicentre is connected to the rooms of the adjacent Chamber of Commerce (Largo Pradella) and to the Head Office in Via Calvi by a telecommunications network in fibre optics with 10/100 Mbps data lines and cables connected to the telephone switchboards.
The Centre also has 3 ISDN lines and a 2Mbps connection to the outside world. In this way it is possible to send or receive videos from any part of the Chamber of Commerce system and from anywhere in the world, and take part in video conferences with up to 4 participants.
Moreover, software is available for multi-conferences for up to
15 participants at the same time. In this case the Mantova office becomes the main transmission centre and the remote offices can participate vocally and send requests via mail or text messaging.
